Kathy was born in Los Angeles and grew up in an Air Force family, moving frequently.
Her formal religious training consisted of base chapels and Episcopalian churches,
often under family directive. Kathy did not warm to church structures and dogma but
was called towards philosophy, painting, and poetry as her spiritual expression and
interests.
I
In 1977, with her life in crisis, she was blessed to attend a Rev. Terry Cole-Whittaker
seminar in San Diego while on vacation to see her Mom. (Kathy’s home was in Seattle.)
Kathy states, “It was my introduction to spiritual ideas that made heart sense to me and
resonated in my mind at last. Terry talked about how empowered she was and how she
co-creates with life with God. I learned I was a co-creator of my life and took back
responsibility for my choices.” The spiritual piece of her life became whole. “Often
through these types of life crisis, we find the opening to our spiritual nature and
gifts appear,” she says.
Kathy’s life changed that day, and she found her spiritual home. Today, Kathy walks on
the path with God, the Mystery, consciously as her co-creator and guide. When Kathy
went back to Seattle, she and her children attended a Religious Science church in Bellevue,
Washington, with Rev. Jim Munson. There she took a prosperity class. That began years
of study and personal development classes. Kathy learned the power of affirmations and
created her first “treasure map” or “vision board” that said, “California Here I Come,”
and demonstrated the power of conscious and directed thought through the dream move home
to California, summer of 1978, one year later.
Kathy says, "Through the surrender and understanding of the intentions God has for me
and the abundance that surrounds us, a new career opened that rewarded me handsomely in
many ways and for many years. Over the years there have been many ‘demonstrations’ of
that Abundance that surrounds all of us and shows up in life continually, and of the
perfect health and wholeness of life.” These beliefs supported Kathy’s success in the
business world of sales and business development for 20 years, and she believes there
is a lot of room for consciousness in business. Kathy says, “Goals are God’s ideas,
too!”
In 1990, Kathy began classes at Seaside and studying Ernest Holmes. She had been longing
for a deeper experience and felt God’s whisperings. Kathy says, “Knowing God at the level
of personal relationships that I do now, praying, reading mystics, doing treatments daily,
active in the human growth movement, supports and guides me to fulfill not only my spiritual
center, but also to guide others on their own spiritual journeys. I am devoted to teaching
the principles and aspire to inspire through my practice, seeing Spirit alive in each
individual. It is with great joy that I counsel people with their own personal
understanding of their Spiritual nature and truth. It is why I am on this planet
at this time.”
Kathy became a licensed practitioner in 1996 and a master practitioner
in 2007, and maintains a spiritual counseling practice both in person and on the phone.
She assists with practitioner classes and leads some of the in-home study programs yearly.
You can find Kathy at Seaside on most Sunday mornings. Kathy lives in North San Diego,
shares her life with Joe, her partner, and family and friends. Kathy founded On Track
Success Coaching in 1996, and as a life, business and career coach, she loves to help
people find the keys to great relationships, and their passion, purpose, and peace, while
also teaching tools for mastering their inner and outer world. She facilitates workshops
on success, consciousness, self-love, and prosperity and accepts limited speaking engagements.
